The police are banging their fists. Following the facts of delinquency observed recently in the town of Saint-Jean-de-Losne, an operation was carried out this Saturday at the end of the day by the gendarmerie. Under the direction of the squadron leader Héloïse Rollier, commander of the Beaune gendarmerie company, around fifteen soldiers took part, from 5 to 8 p.m. Gendarmes from the Saint-Jean-de-Losne brigade, but also from the Reims squadron, the PSIG, as well as reservists and a dog handler from Dijon. The operation consisted, in various places of the town, in verifying the certificates of motorists and passers-by, but also in carrying out various checks (alcohol level, narcotics, etc.). In the end, a blood alcohol level at a contraventional rate, three certification defects, two non-compliant plates on mopeds and one non-transfer of the registration card were noted. The gendarmes announce other checks soon on the sector of the Beaune company.
