What are the most popular sectors?
This is undoubtedly all Hyères seafront which is home to many beaches and allows for rare diversity. Indeed along the coast, the districts of Salins, Ayguade, Port, Pesquiers, Capte, Bergerie, peninsula of Giens, Route du Sel and Almanarre, not to mention the Golden Islands (Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Levant) , have their own identity and offer their sandy beaches, pebbles, coves, protected natural areas … thus meeting everyone’s expectations. The Giens peninsula and its village, at the southern end of the city, remains a privileged sector of Hyères. The Port, a lively district all year round where there are mainly apartments, is also very popular. The Salins district, a former fishing village, popular with families with its pleasant beaches, is also booming with the construction of several buildings. The districts of Ayguade, La Capte, La Bergerie and Pousset mainly house houses by the sea and remain highly sought after.
