Hungary’s NPP Paks is making ready to build the fifth and sixth reactors, as the four now operational reactors will achieve operational deadlines concerning 2032 and 2037. The Hungarian govt programs to get ready the new reactors by 2030.
In 2014, Hungary concluded a € 12.5 billion deal with Rosatom on the growth of the PAKS NPP. Rosatom will existing most of the funding necessary for the implementation of the project – 10 billion euros – to the Hungarians.
