MEXICO CITY, September 30 (EL UNIVERSAL).- In his last morning, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador attacked former presidents Vicente Fox, Felipe Calderón and journalist Carlos Loret de Mola.
When boasting about the achievements of his administration in economic and social matters, the President questioned the former leaders about what they did with the resources they obtained when oil had high prices.
“With Calderón and Fox the price of oil was higher and what did they do with all those surpluses? They were left to their task there.”
He pointed out that during Calderón’s six-year term was when the lethality rate increased in confrontations between alleged criminals and elements of the Armed Forces.
“This information helps counteract misinformation and manipulation campaigns. Yesterday I saw that Loret said that now that I’m going to live in Palenque I sent myself to build an ISSSTE hospital, the Mayan Train, a barracks, an IPN school, as if was going to return… They are the works of Palenque because if we go to those where he lives -Polanco- the Chapultepec Forest was expanded, a Cablebus, Cineteca, floating roads were built”, among other works.
