The CGT, FSU, FO and Solidaires unions met on Sunday morning for the traditional May Day parade on the Place du Champ-au-Roy in Guingamp. The demonstration, which brought together 220 people, began with a few declarations and demands. Trade unionists expressed their distrust of the next pension reform, denounced the price of energy, raw materials, the cost of living, the war in Ukraine and elsewhere in the world, demanded the maintenance of the statutes of the function public, the end of Macron bonuses replaced by the establishment of a 13th month for all. They also marked their opposition to the laws contributing to the destruction of the public hospital, in general, and that of Guingamp, in particular. Sabrina, Virginie and Mélanie, hospital nurses, have also intervened to denounce the existing structural crisis and demand a full-service hospital.
After a song of encouragement interpreted by the choir “Le cœur des louves”, the procession set off through the streets of the city.
