On October 24, at the Palace of Children’s Creativity “Young Gubkinets” a solemn ceremony was held to present certificates of scholarship holders from the administration of the Gubkinsky City District to worthy representatives of student youth.

The honorary right to receive a scholarship throughout the academic year is awarded to excellent students, prize-winners and laureates of competitions at various levels, participants in Olympiads and festivals. Congratulated the active and talented youth head of the administration of the Gubkinsky urban district Anton Kulev.

In a solemn ceremony, certificates of scholarship from the administration of the Gubkinsky city district were presented to 20 students from institutions of higher and secondary vocational education. Warm words to the youth were said by the heads of educational institutions: director of the Gubkin branch of BGIIK Olga Galass, director of the Gubkin branch of NUST MISIS Alexey Kozhukhov, director of the Gubkin branch of BSTU named after. V.G. Shukhova Viktor Uvarov, acting Director of the Gubkin Mining Polytechnic College Galina Shchepikhina. They wished the recipients inexhaustible energy, new scientific and creative achievements and not to stop there.

Among those who received a high award is Ekaterina Prezhina, a third-year student of the Gubkin branch of BGIIK. Ekaterina is an active participant in many competitions and conferences, is involved in creativity, and is a volunteer. She admitted that the scholarship will be a contribution to the development of her personality and will allow her to continue participating in various creative competitions. The girl dreams of becoming a teacher of theoretical disciplines at a music school or in her native educational institution.

“I am grateful to the district administration that they considered me worthy of receiving this scholarship and appreciated my merits so highly,” – said Ekaterina.
