This resident of Croisilles, a retired entrepreneur, has been giving blood since 1988.
“I am lucky to be in good health, I help other people who are less fortunate benefit from it. My wife had a serious traffic accident, it increased my motivation tenfold. And, who knows, maybe one day I will also need blood. »
If my health allows me, I will donate until the age limit (under 71), I have 3 years left to make donations.
It’s at Michel Choletvolunteer organizer of blood drives, assisted by Francois Roumierwho had the honor of awarding the diploma for 25 donations to Alain Sarazin.
The happy graduate explained that he did not know how he was chosen, because he was not the only one to give for 35 years. “When I was active, I couldn’t donate to every collection”.
This collection was supervised by the Efs nurse, Sidonie Grégoire, who congratulated the recipient, and declared that the blood stocks had progressed, but that there were still needs. “We are mainly appealing for plasma donations. For Normandy, you now have to go to Caen, Rouen or Le Havre”.
