In front of Ganjar, Megawati Talks about Sanctions for Dismissing PDIP Cadres

Jakarta

General Chairman of PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri talking about the sanctions for dismissal for cadres who have gone too far in disobeying the party’s orders. Megawati said it was better to resign than to be fired.

The warning was delivered in a virtual activity entitled, ‘Submission of Tali Asih for Party Cadre who Died Exposed to COVID-19’, Thursday (30/9/202021). The recording of the activity is on the PDIP YouTube channel.

At the beginning of the event, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto guided the delivery of love, which was carried out symbolically to the family of an East Java PDIP DPD administrator, Emiyati Febrianti. After that, Megawati delivered her speech.

Megawati said the virtual love affair was attended by PDIP cadres, including from the DPC. There are two cadres who are called Megawati, namely Ganjar Pranowo and Deputy Mayor of Semarang Hevearita G Rahayu.

Megawati once reminded about the implementation of the COVID-19 health protocol at the beginning of her speech, which according to her was simple, but there were still cadres who were negligent.

“We have to remember that we have to wear masks, wash our hands, keep our distance, it’s actually, in my opinion, a simple discipline, we are not told to do anything, but we are still negligent,” Megawati said in her speech.

Megawati asked PDIP cadres to read the AD/ART because the subject of sanctions is regulated in it. PDIP’s AD/ART regulates 3 levels of sanctions, the highest being dismissal for cadres who are not loyal to the party.

“Please look at the sanctions, in our AD/ART there are three. At first, they were reprimands. But if you don’t want to listen, the sanctions are increased. If you have been given a warning but you still don’t want to discipline the party, it will eventually be raised, which is being deactivated from your assignment,” said Megawati.

“The highest is the dismissal. It is definitely done for those who are not loyal to the party,” he added.

However, Megawati admitted that she always reminded cadres whose violations were too late to step down. Because if you don’t, you’ll be fired.

“I always (talk), both in meetings, meetings, if it is not suitable to join PDIP, you should immediately resign, submit your KTA, because otherwise the heaviest sanction is dismissal,” said Megawati.

“So it’s better to think so, resigning is better than being fired,” he continued.
