The incident took place after a man called the police. He complained that his wife “in a fit of dementia” threatened him with two knives.
When the three policemen arrived, the woman first locked herself in a room and then attacked the guards. One of them first dodged and then was wounded in the leg.
The second law enforcement officer took out his service weapon and shot the woman in the head.
The victim was hospitalized in serious condition. Later, information appeared about her death, but then it was denied.

According to the French anti-terrorist prosecutor’s office, the woman allegedly shouted “Allahu Akbar” and “infidels” during the incident.
