Towards a flexible class at the start of the next school year
In Fondettes, the Françoise Dolto school has decided to seize this possibility! Since Wednesday, she launched a pot on this platform. The idea is to finance a flexible class for CP / CE1 at the start of the school year. It’s about to adapt the class to students who find it more and more difficult to sit still, and we’re not just talking about hyperactive people. “We see that they have a natural need for movement that cannot be satisfied by leaving them sitting at their table all day”, explains Emilie Bornet, CP teacher at Dolto school. “This is manifested by swaying chairs, school equipment that we need to touch, handle, and then a certain nervousness that we also feel.”

Hence the need for a flexible classroom. Clearly, it is to buy equipment that will allow children to be less static during the day. A part has already been acquired by the school. “For example, rubber bands that are attached to the legs of a chair or table, and which allow the feet to move, chair cushions which also allow movement on the chair. And then there is the furniture which is more expensive”, details Emilie Bornet.
And which is therefore the subject of this call for donations. This may allow the purchase of bicycle desks, inclined or high desks. “We could set up this project, because the town hall of Fondettes is very attentive”, recognizes Magali Le Rolland, the director of the Dolto school. “But suddenly, it would be in a longer time frame”. With budgets voted only the year after in fact. The Dolto school would like for its part to have its flexible class for the next school year.
Tax deductible donations
This fund for the installation of a flexible class at Fondettes from the next school year can be found on the Project Kit website for 60 days. Like any donation, it is tax deductible up to 66%. The idea is also that it can be of interest beyond the school circle.
