Brandon Johns Jr. started the match with a bucket and Eli Brooks added one. Christian Koloko then scored inside and Hunter Dickinson came back and hit a jumper.

Bennedict Mathurin scored and Azuolas Tubelis too. Mathurin scored again, but Johns Jr. got a basket in transition as the game was tied at eight in the media timeout.

Caleb Houstan scored and Justin Kier equaled him. Moussa Diabate and Mathurin exchanged baskets before Houstan and Frankie Collins scored. Kerr Kriisa made a three and Tubelis got a bucket as Arizona took a 17-16 lead with 10:51 left in the first half.

Koloko scored and Devante Jones entered the draw. Dickinson then got a basket on the offensive glass and a float from Kriisa gave the Wildcats a 21-20 lead with 7:19 left at the half.

Brooks made one of two free throws and Koloko scored on the inside. Tubelis then pulled a bucket out of the glass and Juwan Howard called the time out with Arizona leading 25-21.

Koloko and Brooks traded baskets and Dalen Terry made a three as Arizona took a 30-23 lead with just under four minutes left in the half.

Terry scored and Kobe Bufkin had two free throws. Terry and Diabaté exchanged baskets before Oumar Ballo made a free throw. Pelle Larssoon and Brooks then both scored to end the half with the Wildcats ahead 37-29.

Dickinson made two free throws to start the half and Koloko tied it. Brooks and Tubelis both scored before Terry got a bucket and Tubelis made two free throws. Johns got a three from the corner and Mathurin and Dickinson both scored. Kriisa and Jones traded buckets, but Arizona got scores from Tubelis and Terry as Michigan canceled the 53-40 time-out just minutes into the second half.

Mathurin had a three and Brooks scored. Mathurin got another basket before Tubelis and Brooks traded free throws. Houstan made two from the line, but a three from Mathurin gave the Wildcats a 62-45 lead with 11:25 left.

Dickinson scored and Koloko had two free throws. Koloko made two more on the line and Terrance Williams II scored in the lane. Koloko then hit a dunk and Williams hit a free throw. Koloko scored a lob from Larsson and Jones responded with two free throws. Koloko landed another dunk and Williams scored in the offensive glass as Arizona led 72-54 with 4:33 left.

Brooks had two free throws and Koloko scored. Dickinson then made a free throw and Terry had a dunk in transition with just over a minute to go to end the game and clear the benches.
