In Essert, elected rebels announce five new resignations from the city council

In Essert, in the Territoire de Belfort, five new elected officials announce slam the door of the municipal council. It is the majority group “Essert Renouveau” which announces it in a press release this Friday, June 4th. These resignations, if validated, are added to the three previous ones. This therefore brings the number of vacant posts to eight, and theoretically opens the way for the organization of municipal elections.

The epilogue of a political crisis?

For three months, relations have been strained between Frédéric Vadot on the one hand, his deputies and his municipal councilors on the other. “I think it’s still good news, we’re coming to the end of the sequence, declares the first magistrate. Effectively, the procedure has not yet been completed, this is what the Prefecture of the Territoire de Belfort confirms. She says she is following the file closely. But the elected rebels are already projecting themselves, like Alain Burger of the majority group “Essert Renouveau”. The deputy mayor in charge of town planning is still in post, and confides “relief“.  “It’s been a few weeks that we plan on the after. We were elected for a program, we are not going to change it, we are just going to enrich it. “Has the group already designated its head of the list?
