The knockout stages of the Champions League could mark a before and after in Cristiano Ronaldo’s stay at Manchester United. The ‘Daily Mirror’ newspaper reports in its pages that the Portuguese would leave the institution if Atlético de Madrid eliminates the Red Devils from the great European competition.
According to the English newspaper, United would not have a problem if the striker makes that decision because the rumors within the club mark a disagreement over the return of the ‘Bug’.
Cristiano Ronaldo has 15 goals on his return to Old Trafford but is far from his best form. Manchester United is experiencing an irregular campaign in the Premier League and a possible elimination in the Champions League could be the end of the Portuguese in the Red Devils.
