The resolution of the technical problems that have arisen, thanks to the close collaboration of the Region with the network of local pharmacies and the Federfarma, Assofarm, Farmacieunite and Ascomfarma associations, therefore allows to confirm all the other innovations introduced in the provision recently approved by the Regional Council.

In summary, in addition to the possibility for anyone to carry out, without a prescription, the rapid nasal antigen test (rapid swab) and the serological test in the affiliated pharmacies at a controlled price, the audience of recipients of the voluntary and free screening campaign of the Region through the quick swab at the pharmacy and reduced the interval to be able to make the free swab again from 30 to 15 days.

To the categories of citizens who already have the right to a free rapid swab, there are also educators who work in contact with young and very young people, instructors and coaches of youth sports clubs, third sector volunteers who assist elderly people alone or people with disabilities, family caregivers who take care of lonely or disabled elderly people.

It is also established that certain groups of people already involved in screening – and precisely schoolchildren and students (from 0 to 18 years, and adults if they attend upper secondary school), university students, students of VET programs, school staff of all types of institutions and degree and educational services 0-3 years old and personnel of training and professional education institutions -, will be able to repeat the rapid swab in the pharmacy, again at the expense of the regional health service, every 15 days.

For the other categories, the frequency to take the free test remains monthly.
