Pangandaran News (harapanrakyat.com), – It was only the beginning of August, but flag sellers from various regions in West Java had invaded Pangandaran Regency, West Java.
HR Online monitoring, along the main road in Pangandaran Regency, sellers have lined up selling flags of various sizes and typical Augustan banners.
One of the flag sellers from Garut, Dali, said that the seller of the flag at the Augustan moment was dominated by the seller from Garut.
“There are approximately 100 red and white flag sellers from Garut. It is spread over the Pangandaran Regency,” he said, Monday (1/8/2022).

Not only in Pangandaran, continued Dali, flag sellers from Garut are also scattered throughout the country.
“Even to Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Papua, the seller of the flag from Garut got there,” he said.
Dali himself admitted that every August he travels to various regions to sell red and white flags.
“Last year I did not sell in Pangandaran, but still in West Java. Now, some of my friends are also going to the Cilacap area, Central Java,” he said.
According to Dali, seasonal sellers like himself don’t only sell flags during the Augustan season, but also sell banners.
“The red and white flags we sell are of different sizes. Because everyone has different needs. Banners are like that, all kinds of patterns and sizes,” he explained.
Regarding the price, Dali admits that he sells flags ranging from Rp. 20 thousand to Rp. 120 thousand.
“If the price varies, from Rp. 20 thousand to Rp. 120 thousand. Because it depends on the size and pattern,” he said.
Dali said that every August, up to 200 flags and banners were sold.
“Alhamdulillah, sometimes the merchandise runs out, sometimes there are a few seeds left,” he said.
Meanwhile, Rudiansah, a resident of Pangandaran, admitted that she deliberately bought a red and white flag to be installed in front of her house.
“Buy a flag that costs Rp. 50,000 to be installed in front of the house. Taking part in celebrating Independence Day, it’s very historic, so we bought the red and white flag on purpose,” he said. (Entang/R7/HR-Online/Editor-Ndu)
