Students of Lugansk and Donetsk universities, together with teachers and researchers, carried out excavations mound of the Bronze Age in the Svatovsky district of the Luhansk region.

At the same time, burials were also discovered here later time, in particular the Scythian 5-4 centuries BC.
“This is indicated by a bronze arrowhead of the corresponding type, and a stone dish was found in the embankment itself – an altar on which the Scythians made sacrifices,” said the leader.
The mound is a burial structure three meters high and about fifty meters in diameter.
Scientists expect that there may be up to 15 burials of different eras with artifacts belonging to each era.
