In Donbas, a Ukrainian serviceman was blown up – he was evacuated to a military hospital. About it informs the press center of the JFO headquarters on Sunday, December 12.
“A mine and explosive injury was received by a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 49 years old, a lieutenant. The medical service of the military unit carried out an urgent evacuation of the wounded to a military hospital, where he was provided with the necessary medical care,” it was reported.
The condition of the wounded soldier is assessed as moderate.
During the examination of the wounded soldier, it turned out that the separatists used remote mining with plastic mines on the line of fire.
“They are prohibited by international conventions due to the infliction of significant suffering on the victim both during the explosion on this explosive device and when the fragments are removed from the body of the wounded,” added the JFO headquarters.
The incident will be investigated, the materials of which, together with the debris of an explosive device removed from the body of the military, will be provided to international monitoring organizations.
Recall that earlier the Red Cross and the UN sent more than 130 tons of humanitarian aid in ORDLO… The trucks will deliver food and hygiene kits, furniture, household and medical goods to the residents of Donbass.
