On Sunday, March 14, Hyundai hit a pedestrian on Bohdan Khmelnitsky Avenue. The man received injuries incompatible with life – he died at the scene.
The accident occurred at about 17:50 at the intersection of Bogdan Khmelnitsky Avenue with Gavrilenko Street. According to preliminary information from the police, Hyundai was driving at its “green” traffic light, – reports Informant… The man was crossing the road on a pedestrian crossing, but on the “red” one. In addition, he was wearing dark clothes, which is why the driver did not immediately notice him. Later he tried to avoid a collision, but did not have time.
An ambulance team was sent to the scene, but the doctors could not do anything. The man was fatally injured. Now police officers and an accident investigator are working on the spot. All the circumstances of the incident are being established.
