In Dnipro, the 39-year-old mother of the child decided to commit suicide. She injected strong drugs on herself and her son at the age of 1 year and 7 months.
On September 9, doctors from one of the local hospitals reported this to the police. According to them, a child was delivered to them with a diagnosis of acute drug poisoning. Informs Informant with reference to the GUNP in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
As the police found out, the grandmother was the first to come to the apartment and saw her daughter and grandson unconscious. Also, the woman found the remains of medicines and a suicide note. She immediately called an ambulance and tried to resuscitate the child. Unfortunately, the boy died in the hospital. The 39-year-old woman is now in a medical facility.
On this fact, the investigators of the police station No. 4 opened criminal proceedings under part 2 of paragraph 2 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder of a young child).
