Almost every day the pandemic makes solidarity fundraisers flourish on the internet. Here is a new one, and it is original. Her name is “Alliance of Non-essentials”. Valentin Lelièvre, the manager of the “Fit & Coach” gym in Dijon, has grouped together 10 other stores and shops which, like him, can no longer receive the public.
Each has put 100 euros in a common pot, and this sum is used to launch this Wednesday, April 1, a kitty for the general public. We will find posters, leaflets in the streets of Dijon and pubs on the internet. A campaign to invite us to give a financial boost to these brands.
“We can give 10 euros, that pays us the bank charges that we have to take out each month in these difficult times of management. If you give 25 euros that pays our telephone subscription. If you go up to 50 euros, that pays a professional outfit, because we all hope to restart very quickly “ explains Valentin Lelièvre. “Every gesture is useful, because state aid does not cover our shortfall.”
“It is estimated that each brand that participated in the financing of this advertising campaign will be able to recover around 3,000 euros” assures the young manager of the sports hall.
Of the 11 stores grouped together in the Alliance des non-essentials, 7 are from Dijon, 4 others are from different parts of France such as Marseille, Isère or Alsace.
Other brands can still join the movement. Just connect to this Facebook page.
