The film touched on the details of the death of the son of Myriam Fares, which she recounted on her tongue, saying: “In July of 2017, my pregnancy with my second child was confirmed, and at that time I had health problems. Depression, loneliness, and a feeling that can only be described as felt by a woman who is going through the same circumstances.”
This feeling was not easy for the Lebanese artist, who decided to stop all her artistic works and singing projects during that period, as she no longer had a goal or a dream, and she also lost her passion for work during that period, which was something she was not used to because she was good at separating her personal and practical life. As she put it, this situation continued for 4 years, saying: “This thing took 4 years, they were difficult, and I hope that day will come and I will reconcile with my situation.
The film also dealt with the journey of the third pregnancy of the artist, Myriam Fares, which coincided with the Corona crisis, as she said that she discovered her pregnancy after announcing the death of the first case of the coronavirus: “A week after I returned from travel, I discovered that I was six weeks pregnant with my third child.” And she continued: “Praise be to God in 2020, our Lord gave me my son (Dave), and I am happy as much as I was afraid of him and of the epidemic that we are living through, and the same experience will be repeated with me, and I will lose my son.”
It is noteworthy that Myriam Fares has another child named “Jayden” from her husband, Danny Mitri, and she said during the hour and 11-minute movie that she wished to have a daughter after she gave birth to two sons, saying: “My husband and I had in mind, a girl, but whether he was born Or a sweet girl, everything from our Lord is good, and the important thing is that their health is good.
And the network “Netflix” announced the release of a documentary film for “Fares”, entitled “Myriam Fares – The journey”, through its online platform, and “Netflix” said in the movie poster: “The work takes an hour and 11 minutes, and the documentary will be shown on June 3, 2021, Through it, Myriam revealed her artistic and personal experiences, which she lived to become the most important singer in Lebanon.” Myriam Fares appeared in the advertisement for the documentary while she was pregnant with her second child, and attached decorations for a photo session that she underwent with her husband and eldest son, Jayden.
