The ND candidate for parliamentarian of Ioannina, Mr. Spyros Konstantopoulos, had a substantial contact with representatives of the expatriate Hellenism of Dervitsani and the wider area of Deropolis.
The ND parliamentary candidate listened with interest to their problems, in which the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis has participated in recent years, with the main agenda being the protection of the rights of the Greek minority.
The people with whom Mr. Konstantopoulos spoke expressed their satisfaction with the final settlement of a long-standing request of the Greek expatriates of Northern Epirus, regarding the allowance of the uninsured elderly, aged over 67. The return of the specific monthly allowance amounting to 387.90 euros, is made upon application, with a process that opened a few days ago and which was announced during the recent visit of the Prime Minister and president of the ND, to the expatriate villages
