On Saturday, November 21, on the side of Daugmale, a reckless man was sitting behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol. Without controlling the steering wheel of the vehicle, the car crashed into a tree, but the driver himself was injured in the accident, reports the program “Degpunkta”.
On Saturday afternoon, the residents of Daugavmala had to see a rather serious accident, when a Volvo XC90 driver who had been drunk and was under the influence of alcohol had entered the ditch and hit a tree. Considering that the man was injured as a result of the accident, an ambulance was also called to the scene of the accident.
The drinker himself explained that he had driven 25-30 kilometers per hour, but judging by the location of the accident, the operative services think that the driving speed may have been around 100 km / h. Law enforcement officers remembered that the man had already been met, and one of the meetings had probably rescued the driver from the accident.
