In court: 21-year-old attacked bus driver in Würzburg with a knife

It happened in January 2021 in front of the Würzburg Residence, on a bus on line 14 to Gerbrunn. Around 9 p.m. a young man got on the bus. He wanted to know from the bus driver whether he was an Arab or an Afghan. The driver did not want to answer, so the 21-year-old presumably picked up a kitchen knife. The case has now been heard before the juvenile lay judge. In the process it becomes clear that the threat was meant seriously. The 34-year-old driver managed to fend off several stab movements in the direction of his head and upper body with the hand on which he had cuts.
