Truffles in the Châtillonnais, the wine on the Côte de Nuits or the Côte de Beaune, sheep farming in Auxois or Morvan… the Côte d’Or is a rich department due to the diversity of its terroir, with many multiple specialties. A diversity and farmers that the departmental council supports financially, but also with the establishment of the brand “100% Côte d’Or know-how” which now has more than 150 farmers and breeders.
On the occasion of the opening this Saturday of the “Côte d’Or farm” at the Dijon fair, we spoke with François Sauvadet, president of the departmental council, and Ludovic Maret, farmer in Saulon-la-Chapelle, on the situation of farmers in the department. Find this interview below:
A series of podcasts will soon be available on K6FM.com about this “100% Côte d’Or know-how” brand.
