“However, this year has been exceptional with a hard confinement that the students have suffered from full force”, explains the professor of Philosophy. “They talk to us about supporting the students, but what we see is a total abandonment of the academic difficulty that the confinement crisis could have generated.”
Adaptation efforts not taken into account
The unions are also demanding a revaluation of wagesres and another Education budget. With confinement a lot of effort has been made but it has not been followed up in terms of salaries, regrets Annick Alix. The FO departmental secretary for colleges and high schools, believes, “that there was only a sprinkling, and the digital bonus of 150 euros is not enough, especially as some staff such as childcare centers were not even entitled to it.” For all these reasons, the intersyndicale calls to meet this Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. in front of the Rectorate in Dijon.
