In confirmation of what was published by the News Agency of Petroleum and Energy, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources instructed all companies operating in the sector to abide by the obligation of workers and visitors to work places to wear a muzzle during their time to work to combat the new Corona virus and to preserve workers, explaining that there is no compromise in dealing with non-compliant workers.
The Ministry issued strict instructions to all workers at auto supply stations, gas delivery workers, and customer centers for procedures for delivering natural gas to homes, as well as workers in the main centers of the ministry, affiliated bodies, and land and sea productivity sites, with the need to adhere to wearing a mask or gag and to impose penalties on violators.
And sterilization units will be installed in the main gates of most petroleum companies and production sites within the precautionary measures implemented by the petroleum sector to combat the Corona virus, which would preserve the workers and protect them from the emerging Corona virus.
Hamdi Abdel Aziz, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, affirmed that the Ministry is committed to applying all precautionary and preventive measures to combat the Corona virus in all affiliated bodies and companies, whether it is in administrative headquarters or productive sites, whether land or sea, stating that the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources is proactive in applying and following all Preventive measures to combat that virus, as awareness films about the ways to prevent and protect against Corona virus infection are continuously displayed on all “displays” located in the headquarters of the Ministry, agencies and companies, as well as living places for workers in productive sites.
