In compliance with the King’s orders, “prisons” initiate amnesty measures for individuals convicted under the common law – News 24 – Akhbaar24

The General Directorate of Prisons has begun to implement amnesty procedures for inmates who have been sentenced to a public right, so that they can be released and returned to their families. This is in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

The Director General of Prisons stated that the Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef, directed the speedy implementation of the honorable royal order and the termination of the procedures for its beneficiaries.

He stressed that this compassionate humanitarian gesture from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – may God protect him – will have a great impact on the souls of the beneficiaries after they leave and are reunited with their families.
