In Colomiers, near Toulouse, stronghold of the left for years, the crusader sympathizers do not hide their dismay. Arthur, him, believes that a surprise can still happen, depending on the mobilization of voters. This is not the case with Martin, near him, who speaks with a lot of fatalism of the upcoming election: “It’s going to be pretty dark, I believe Macron, and the rights are going to thrive quietly by not saying much, they don’t need to.” He does not even know if he will vote in the presidential election, and think that a union of the left is impossible : “It’s complicated to unite, there are so many divisions, different opinions … I don’t believe it.”
However, the possibilities are not lacking : “some programs are interesting”, judges even the young man, but “there is no leader, who brings charisma, hope, the debates are of no interest, there is no such providential man.”
Supporters crossed, not all are interested in this election, far from it, for them the question arises above all of the existence of left-wing ideas, even in this columérine stronghold.
