Doctors revived both drowned people for about an hour, but to no avail – they pronounced death on the spot.
In one of the tourist and hotel complexes in the Chernihiv region, two people drowned in a lake where electric shocks were observed. About this on Sunday, August 15, reported Public.
According to a witness to the tragedy, the death of both men did not look like drowning. They went to the bottom instantly.
“I was seven to eight meters away and saw everything. My colleague and I were swimming on glanders. And I noticed that my colleague Vladislav was swimming along the shore, and suddenly he uttered a characteristic cry, as if convulsive, and the movements of his body were similar, like a blow electric shock, but at first I did not understand this. And he went to the bottom, he was no longer visible from the water. He had no struggle, no attempts to swim out, “- said an eyewitness.
When the second man rushed to the aid of the first, the same thing happened to him.
“Colleague Evgeny rushed to him. Stepping into this, relatively speaking, circle where Vladislav was struck, he went to the bottom with the same symptoms. There was also a cry, and he went to the bottom immediately. No attempts to swim out or other movements. I swam (on a glanders – ed.) in their direction, realized that it was a current, turned around and shouted to my colleagues to get out of the water, “the vacationer specified.
Further, he continued, an employee of the complex came to the scene of the tragedy and began to take out the bodies with an oar. “He said that he was electrocuted. And did not allow anyone to approach the water,” the man said.
As indicated, the doctors resuscitated both drowned people for about an hour, but to no avail – they pronounced death on the spot.
A criminal case has been opened under the article on negligent murder (Article 199 of the Criminal Code). The management of the complex refused to comment on the incident.
