A new access card will be made available to residents and professionals for this area specifically. The badge will be requested from March 8, 2021, necessarily by appointment at the one-stop shop of the town hall of Chartres.
The number of affected households is approximately 1,000, as long as everyone does not have their badge, the limited area will not be operational. We will make sure everyone is equipped.
How to get an access badge to the restricted area?
When you go to the one-stop shop to request your access badge, you must bring proof of address, proof of identity, a photocopy of the gray card of the vehicle (s) concerned. (limited to two vehicles per household), proof of living together if applicable, as well as a recent identity document.
In exchange for a deposit of 40 €, an access badge to the new limited area will be issued to you. He will be valid for one year.
Please note, if you have access rights for one of the zones, your badge will not work for the terminals in the other pedestrian zone, and vice versa.
Note also that within this new bounded area, the parking will remain chargeable, unless you are a holder free residential parking badge.
