Recently, in the agglomeration of Chartres (Eure-et-Loir), false quality thefts were committed.
Facts which lead the National Police on on the Facebook page, to attract the attention of Chartrains and inhabitants of the Metropolis and give them advice.
Fake administration officials and even fake police officers
The Police recall that “many individuals are regularly the target of thefts by false quality”.
This term describes the flights that are generally performed at the victims’ homes, when criminals pass themselves off as professionals (telephone companies, electricity, water, etc.), or administration representatives (census, municipal …) until false policemen.

Following two facts which recently occurred in the Chartres agglomeration, the Police would like to give some simple recommendations:
■ Never let a unknown person in your home, whatever the reason.
■ Anyone arriving at the home must be notified and present a authentic business card.
■ Do not hesitate to make a counter appeal to verify that the arrival of the person who comes to your home is official. To do this, contact the originating organization.
