In chaotic Burma, vaccines are weapons of war | Society

With less than half of its population vaccinated against covid-19, Burma urgently needs vaccines. But the situation of conflict and semi-anarchy that the country is experiencing makes it likely that, even if the doses are received, they will become a missile between the Army and the rebels and will not reach everyone.

In a country that in just over a year, since the coup d’etat of February 1, 2021, has gone from being one of the great promises of Asian opening to a state at war far from the international community, the lack of vaccines against covid-19 is the umpteenth example of the dysfunctionality of the Min Aung Hlaing board.
