As long as donors wear a mask, social distancing remains one meter. These provisions impact both the blood drive and the once convivial moment of the snack.
Where are the blood requirements in general?
The storage of blood products is limited in time: 42 days for red blood cells, five for platelets, one year for plasma. This explains the need for the French Blood Establishment to carry out regular collections in order to constantly renew stocks.

Donors must not come accompanied, they must wear the mask that will be given to them at the reception, keep a minimum distance of one meter from each other and respect the barrier gestures.
If the donation requires returning home after 6 p.m., you must have a certificate by checking the option of assistance to vulnerable people.
