Some stores in Great Britain have introduced a limit on the purchase of certain products, reported ARD.
It is about some of the leading brands. It is known that there are delays in deliveries to the country.
This leaves the shelves empty of some types of vegetables. Therefore, in some places, consumers can buy only three cucumbers each, as there is a limit for peppers and tomatoes.
Some stores allow consumers to buy just two salad greens each. Britain relies heavily on imports of such products.
However, due to delayed deliveries from important importers, these vegetables are in short supply. This is expected to last several weeks.
The government acts to guarantee imports.
