Volleyball for kids
As in previous years, TV Kollnau-Gutach starts again in October with offers for the next generation of volleyball players. Newcomers are now welcome. The training time for the ball salad (grades 1/2) is Tuesdays from 4.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. and for mini volleyball (grades 3/4) from 5 p.m. to 6.15 p.m., youth volleyball (grades 5/6) girls and boys on Wednesdays from 4.30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and for grades 7/8 on Tuesdays from 4.30 p.m. to 6.15 p.m. All training units take place in the Kollnau sports hall (green hall, exit from town). Kollnau ski guild
The regular indoor training “fitness gymnastics” of the Kollnau ski guild begins today, Wednesday at 8 pm. The group “Healthy and Active 50Plus” meets at 7 pm. Both offers take place in the Georg Schindler Hall. At 7.30 p.m. the “back exercises” start in the festival hall in Kollnau (the course lasts ten evenings). All participants should move and come with mouth and nose protection and bring their own mat.
Film club meets
Today, Wednesday, October 14th, 8 p.m., there is a public club evening at the Breisgau Film Club. It takes place in the “Hirschen” inn in Waldkirch. Guests are welcome. More at: www.film-club -breisgau.de.
Local council meets
A public meeting of the Buchholz local council begins on Thursday, October 15th at 7 p.m. in the conference room of the Buchholz town hall, Am Drescheschopf 1. The agenda includes: application for funds for the 2021 budget, application for a grant for the fool’s guild Möslegeister for the 2021 anniversary parade, purchase for the Buchholz festival hall, announcements 6. Questions and suggestions from the local councils. A mouth and nose cover must be worn when entering.
ELZACH
Medicinal herb tour
On Sunday, October 18th, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., there will be a day tour on the subject of “Magical rocks & healing herbs”. It leads from the legendary Siebenfelsen, Yach’s landmark at the foot of the Rohrhardsberg, up to the Rohrhardsberg to the Schänzlehof (1130 m altitude). On the way, the participants will learn something about the use of medicinal plants as wild vegetables in the kitchen, as medicinal herbs in the medicine cabinet or as magical protective plants.
