The Hauts-de-France Biomarques company, whose head office and warehouse are located in Boves (Somme), this Monday, April 12, launches its online commerce platform. The company will offer 2,000 items from organic farming: ranging from food products to hygiene and cosmetic products, but also suitable for babies. Biomarques hopes to have 10,000 references in its catalog by summer 2021.

The firm counts 20 employees, including 14 permanent contracts, on its Samarien site, and employees also in the metropolis of Lille, who are in charge of marketing. “In the Somme, we have our head office and a warehouse where the logistics part and the sales administration team are located, explains the co-founder of the company, Arnaud Monier. We are constituted as a social and solidarity enterprise; the first mission is to incorporate 30% of our employees with disabilities. We are convinced that we are able to develop a profitable activity by constantly caring about what surrounds us, at the social, economic and ethical level..”
And in the Boves region, Biomarques aims to hire: _ “_ To medium term, therefore, by the end of 2021, we aim to have around thirty employees in the Somme region and at three years, 50 employees, explains Arnaud Monier. They will systematically be full-time permanent contracts, always with the objective of hiring 30% of employees with disabilities “.
1 euro for the ELA France association for each transaction on the Biomarques site
In addition to its commitment to employees, the company Biomarques works with three associations: “We have signed a partnership with the president of the ELA France association, which fights against leukodystrophy: for each transaction on our website, we donate one euro directly to the association“.
Biomarques also works with the association l’Enfant Bleu, dedicated to children victims of violence, as well as the Imagine association, which fights against ovarian cancer. “We are not just a social and united company on paper, we really make commitments“, concludes Arnaud Monier.
