In front of the Grand-Théâtre de Bordeaux, place de la Comédie, characters dressed in white from head to toe and in masks gathered around 3 p.m. “Follow the measures, protect your loved ones. Be united, but at home, do not ask yourself any questions, ”chants a slow and robotic female voice. The group Les Masques blancs de Bordeaux organized an artistic performance to “wake up terrorized citizens” by “freedom-killing laws” and “what is increasingly akin to a health dictatorship”, according to their press release.

About 20 people belonging to the Bordeaux collective took rue Sainte-Catherine in slow motion, breaking the frantic pace of the commercial street: “It’s very impressive, almost frightening, testifies Carry, teacher.
