With more than 80 fixed and mobile points of the District’s public and private network, Barranquilla will join this Saturday the third national vaccination day of the permanent program and
COVID-19
, so that the community completes its immunization schedulesespecially children, older adults, women of childbearing age and pregnant women.
This month’s goal is to vaccinate 8,800 children from zero to five years of age and 700 pregnant women from the 14th week of gestation. Among the objectives outlined this month is also to vaccinate 350 girls and adolescents between the ages of 9 and 17 against virus del

, and older adults against seasonal influenza.

this journey will seek to complete schemes and apply reinforcement against the
COVID-19
for that population over 3 years of age that is still pending vaccination, as expressed by the district secretary of Health, Humberto Mendoza Charris.
“The District’s immunization program has 21 biologicals that protect against 26 diseases, among those Covid-19, dengue, yellow fever, tetanus, among others. We invite the people of Barranquilla to go to the more than 80 points that we will have enabled in the District,” express.
Thus, in the articulated network Pasos y Caminos, attention will be paid during 8:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m. and in the vaccinating IPS of 8:00 a.m. a 4:00 p.m, during the course of this Saturday.
