AUSTRALIA – A female dog was rescued from a sea of foam on a beach on the Gold Coast in eastern Australia after heavy rains, as shown in the video at the top of the article.
The dog’s owner received help from several local people to find “Hazel”, when the latter was heard barking in terror in the middle of this large amount of sea foam.
Mistress and bitch were finally reunited after several minutes of striding through the tall moss.
Several beaches and coasts in the northeast and east of Australia were submerged and damaged after heavy rains and high winds due to cyclonic conditions.
This weather has almost made some beaches disappear like Main Beach in Byron Bay, a seaside town in the state of New South Wales where several stars reside, such as actor Chris Hemsworth. Images of local residents showed patches of land slipping in the water and uprooted trees.
Australia is bracing for a wetter than usual summer due to the La Niña weather phenomenon, which brings tropical cyclones and heavy rainfall, despite occasional intense heat waves.
