In the north-east of Argentina, there was a car accident involving a timber truck, a bus and a van. The accident killed 12 people, dozens were injured. About this on Thursday, September 30, reported local agency Prensa Latina.

As you know, the accident occurred in the municipality of Mundu Novu, Bahia state, near the city of Eunapolis.

The driver of a truck transporting eucalyptus logs lost control of the car when cornering. The vehicle skidded, causing its trailer to overturn. At the same time, the cargo got into a bus and a van traveling in the opposite lane.

In addition to the dead, 22 more people were injured. Six of them are in serious condition.

The truck driver reportedly fled the scene and is wanted by law enforcement officers.
