A new musical program for preschool children “Ukulele” has been created in cooperation with the producer of the children’s favorite program “Tutas things” AUSMA and the media group TV3 Group. In each of the 20 series of the first season of “Ukulele”, children together with Uku and Leli will be able to play music, sing and learn new songs related to the “themes” in the series – ball, wind, sleep, teeth, dog, etc. The program will feature original songs the author is the talented composer Laura Polence, but the authors of the names are Edvards Kuks, Elizabete Lukšo-Ražinska and Inga Mastiņa.

Songs and folk songs already familiar to children’s parents, arranged by the outstanding musician Raimonds Petrauskis, will also be performed in “Ukulele”. “Ukulele” sound recordings use a variety of musical instruments: piano, xylophone, metallophone, bells, flute, guitar, ukulele, percussion, etc.

Gita Pētersone-Rudzīte, Program Director of Media3 TV3 Group in Latvia, says: “TV3 Mini celebrates its first anniversary in March and during the year it has become not only the most watched children’s channel in Latvia, but also a reliable friend and travel companion in cognitive adventures! Therefore, we are glad that we will soon be able to invite our viewers to discover a new and exciting world by offering a musical and educational program “Ukulele” created in Latvia! “-
