Vice-presidential candidate elected Gibran Rakabuming Raka encouraged by several partners Full Session MPR ahead of the inaugural parade and swearing in office as deputy vice president Prabowo Subianto, Sunday (20/10).

This moment happened when the Chairman of the MPR, Ahmad Muzani, had just opened the plenary session and welcomed the invited guests who were present.

“We honor the elected vice president of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Gibran Rakabuming for the term of office 2024-2029,” said Muzani, greeted by several test participants.

Nevertheless, several of the test participants praised Gibran as well.

Unlike Gibran, Prabowo’s welcome as president-elect received a standing ovation from the plenary session participants.

Prabowo even got it obedience standing of the majority of total participants.

Before that, several of the participants of the plenary session were inspired by Gibran’s younger brother, Kaesang Pangarep, when he was celebrated at the inauguration parade. Kaesang attended with his older sister, Kahiyang Ayu and her husband Bobby Nasution.

The youngest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) was seen just smiling as several participants cheered him on.

Prabowo-Gibran was officially inaugurated and took the oath of office as president and vice-president at the MPR Plenary General Session, Sunday (20/10). Prabowo will become the eighth President, and Gibran will be the 14th Vice President.
