The famous Spot quadruped robot, which we had the opportunity to try, is back in a new video published by Boston Dynamics. This video shows the two versions of the robot: one equipped with an extendable gripper on the top and the other equipped with a sophisticated system of cameras, which completes the five already present on the machine.
With the latter, the robot can carry out advanced monitoring tasks in industrial environments, for example in a factory. Thus, it can be seen reading information from a pressure gauge or detecting a thermal anomaly.

But Boston Dynamics does not content itself in its video with a simple technological demonstration of its robot and puts humor in Spot’s interactions with an employee named Murray. The sequence ends with a scene whose surprise and slogan we leave you Not just a dancing robot (Not just a dancing robot), to remind us that Spot can do a lot more than move more or less gracefully to music.
