The three guys from Il volo are currently on tour around Italy.

Il volo: a success story

Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto and Gianluca Ginoble make up the well-known singing trio called Il Volo. Winners of an edition of the Sanremo Festival, they have never stopped since 2015. The winning song, which then led them to finish third at the Eurovision Song Contest was titled Great love.

Il Volo won the distinction of being the first Italian group to have signed a direct contract with Geffen, a US major. The boys, all very young, have enjoyed success among the public because they reinterpret songs that belong to the classical tradition, both Italian and international. Each piece is rearranged in a modern way. In addition to Italian, they also sing in Spanish, English, French and German.

Like all bands, Il volo also went through moments of crisis. In April, for example, the trio made a lot of talk about themselves because, with a shot published on social media, they made fans worry. The latter believed that one of the members, Gianluca, was headed for an unknown destination, abandoning the other two. In fact, he was only headed home.

Tour finished

This time around, however, the fans really rose up. At the center of the dispute there would be it turns de Il volo which, according to the most die-hard fans, it would be too short on dates. After all, the trio is about to finish their summer tour to say goodbye to their fans in September.

The last date of the tour, in fact, will be in Agrigento tomorrow 28 July. On 2 September, however, after a break perhaps dedicated to holidays, the trio will immediately return together to perform in Brescia. After the two September dates (in addition to Brescia there will be Vicenza on September 3), Il Volo will return to delight fans with its music starting from December.

And they do, however, they tolerated this shortage of dates badly and they almost got the feeling that the three were about to separate or did not want to perform. Still, the trio proved otherwise. Just think of one of the last concerts, dedicated entirely to a four-year-old girl who is struggling against an atrocious disease: bilateral tibial hemimelia. Her name is Jo Santabarbara and she dreams of walking. Meanwhile, in Torre del Lago, the little girl has realized the dream of being together with her idols.
