In 5 minutes to 50%. Realme has the fastest mobile charge

Probably the most interesting feature of the new three is the fast charging Ultradart, which offers power up to 150 W. In practice, this means that in just five minutes you charge the battery to 50% of its capacity. Real-world tests have shown that you can reach 100% of a fully discharged device in less than 15 minutes.

Users don’t even have to worry about the battery suffering too much from such a fast charge. The independent company TÜV Rheinland has certified the entire system as “safe fast charging” thanks to 38 layers of safety protection and a special MCU safety chip.

In addition, the manufacturer promises that after 1,600 complete charging and discharging cycles, the battery will still retain 80% of its capacity, which in practice is twice as much as is standard for mobile phones.

Top parameters

In addition to fast charging, the manufacturer also relied on a brisk pace. The GT Neo 3 is thus the first smartphone in Europe with the Dimensity 8100 mobile platform, which is manufactured using a 5nm process. The eight-core chip is divided into two parts – four CortexA78 cores operate at 2.85 GHz and another four CortexA55 at 2.0 GHz, which ensure more efficient operation.

The novelty boasts 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. The AMOLED screen offers a 6.7-inch diagonal and Full HD + resolution. HDR 10+ certification or a high refresh rate of 120 Hz, which will delight players, are also worth mentioning. The frame around the display is extremely thin, at the narrowest point it is only 1.48 mm, at the widest point 2.37 mm. The screen to body ratio is 94.2%.

Perhaps only the absence of increased resistance to water and dust will freeze.

A look inspired by car racing

The look of the Realme GT NEO 3 is also interesting. Its model was car racing and, according to the manufacturer, the true story of the legendary racer Carroll Shelby, who painted stripes on a top sports car in 1965 as a symbol of his passion for speed and faith in rewriting history. These strips can also be found on the back of the phone, which will be available in three colors, by the way: Nitro Blue, Sprint White and Asphalt Black.

On the back of the phone we find a set of three cameras. The main Sony IMX 766 sensor offers a resolution of 50 MPx, there is also an ultra-wide lens with a resolution of 8 Mpx and a macro lens with a resolution of 2 Mpx.

Advance sales of the Realme GT Neo 3 will begin later this week, and sales later this month. The price was set at CZK 16,999.
