WEST BANKiNews.id – West Bangka Health Office has recorded as many as 680 cases of dengue haemorrhagic fever (dbd extension) in that zone. This amount is calculated from January to November 2022.
West Bangka Regency Acting Health Bureau Chief Achmad Nursandi said that out of hundreds of cases, 10 patients had died.
The details of DHF cases in West Bangka regency, namely, January there were 110 people, February there were 58, March there were 20, April there were 48, May there were 38, June there there were 82 and July there were 83 patients.
Then in August there were 86, September 57, October 39 sick, November 51 people, while in December there were 8 cases.
“In terms of management efforts, we have been managing extraordinary events (KLB). For example forming a task force and joint movement with the community to eradicate DHF,” said Ahmad Nursyandi, on Monday (12/12/2022).
He asked the community to eradicate the nest mosquito (PSN) with 3M plus, i.e. emptying the bathtub and cleaning the water tanks in the respective quarters.
“Because this month and January next year are already entering the peak of the rainy season. We call on all people to clean up the environment which can be breeding ground for mosquitoes, bury the plastic and other waste that can hold water” , he said.
