The income of Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2020 amounts to 9 million 994 thousand rubles. This is stated in his declaration of income, expenses and property, published on the Kremlin’s website.
The head of state’s profits turned out to be 268 thousand rubles higher than in 2019, when Putin declared 9 million 726 thousand rubles. The president’s income in 2017 remains a record – more than 18.7 million rubles, but this amount also takes into account the funds from the sale of a plot of 15 acres.
The list of the president’s assets in the declaration has not changed. It has an apartment with an area of 77 square meters and a garage with an area of 18 square meters, two rare “Volga” GAZ M21, a jeep “Niva” and a trailer “Skif”. The president uses an apartment of 153.7 square meters. m and a garage space of 18 sq. m. All these properties are located in Russia.
In 2018, Putin’s income amounted to almost 8.65 million rubles, in 2016 – almost 8.86 million rubles, in 2015 – almost 8.9 million rubles. Previously, the revenues of the head of state were less: in 2013 – 3.6 million rubles, and in 2014, after the increase in the remuneration of the president and prime minister, whose salaries at that time lagged behind in income to their subordinates – 7.6 million rubles.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin won 19,853,000 rubles in 2020.
