In 2020, Neste Latvija became the largest fuel trader in Latvia

The net turnover of SIA Neste Latvija in 2020 was 301 million euros, which is 12% less than a year earlier and which can be explained by the decrease in oil product prices as a result of the global pandemic caused by Covid-19.

Profit after taxes last year was 5.3 million, while the company’s investments in Latvia last year were 1.8 million. Last year, Neste Latvija transferred 192 million euros to the state budget. In 2020, the company has become the largest fuel trader in Latvia.

In 2020, the company successfully continued its business in all areas of activity, developing the infrastructure and expanding the network of automatic filling stations, which currently includes 76 filling stations throughout the country. Last year, one new gas station was opened in Limbaži. Last year, the company actively continued the installation of windshield fluid dispensers, which saved more than 35 thousand plastic cans. Last year, sales of Neste MY, a 100% renewable diesel fuel, continued to grow, helping to save 41,192,600 kg of CO2 emissions. The product can be purchased both pure and as a 7% blend for Futura diesel.

The company has also been very successful in attracting new customers in both the commercial and retail segments. Customers increasingly appreciate the consistently high quality of Neste fuel, fast refueling, and a favorable price, which together form the best refueling experience. The most significant event of the past year has been the introduction of the Neste mobile application, which has rapidly increased the number of users.

Also in 2021, the company will continue to invest in the development of new products, technologies and services, looking for more sustainable solutions, as well as strengthening its position as a leader in innovation in the Latvian fuel market.
