The Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) installed vaccination modules against covid-19 in more than 100 medical units of the Salud Digna network of clinical laboratories, which will be operating from April 20 to 30 completely by IMSS personnel, who will also provide supplies and doses of Astra Zeneca.
Salud Digna is one of the private health care organizations with the greatest coverage in Mexico, serving more than 15 million Mexicans a year through its 154 clinics, which are strategically distributed to have a presence in each state of the country.
In addition, it was chosen by the IMSS as one of the organizations that will be part of an extraordinary vaccination campaign that seeks to encourage more people to complete their vaccination schedule against covid-19 in an easier and safer way, through Insurance modules. With this strategy of enabling IMSS modules in Salud Digna facilities, the populations of 28 states in the country will be able to take advantage of this opportunity to complete their vaccination schedule against covid-19, during business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The association indicated that, in adherence to the public health system, all vaccines are safe, free and available to the population over 18 years of age who have not yet completed their three-dose schedule, regardless of whether they are affiliated with the IMSS or not. .
